San Diego Bay Nonnative Limonium Control Project

We began controlling nonnative Limonium species (L. duriusculum, L. ramosissimum) in the San Diego Bay, California in 2022. The United States Fish and Wildlife Service Coastal Program funded the project. Since then we have received additional funding from the Coastal Program and the USFWS Legacy Region 8, Refuges Invasive Species Grant Program.

Rare Plant Discovery Surveys

The San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance funded rare plant discovery surveys to locate new rare plant populations and to update information about historical rare plant locations in San Diego County, California.

Rare Plant Monitoring Protocol Development

We are working with AECOM to prepare a draft rare plant monitoring protocol for the Natural Communities Coalition (NCC) of Orange County, California.
